It was a great day for me as I was selected in MasterChef India auditions round one in the morning. For celebrations me and my husband decided to try out The Noodle Bar in Phoenix Market city Mall, Whitefield.
The most important thing that attracted us to the hotel was their invitation to learn to use chopsticks. The ambiance was beautiful and pleasant. The menu is decently priced and is filled with Japanese, Chinese and Thai dishes. We asked the waiter for a demo on using the chopsticks and he readily agreed. After ten minutes of fun and trying out all the ways of not holding the chopsticks, we picked up a spoon and fork.
We met the MasterChef Sanjay Malkhani, who commented, “At Noodle Bar, we aim to delight the gourmands with the finest and most delectable Oriental cuisine. The
menu comprises an exotic variety of flavors from around the world and will appeal to everyone with their delicious succulence.”
The oriental cuisine offers diners a diverse menu from tantalizing soups and steaming dumplings. They have a variety of dishes from Japan, China and Thailand. Complimenting the oriental menu is the rich decor which uses vibrant colors like mahagony, cream and black. If you are looking to spend a classy evening in an Asian themed oriental experience, Noodle Bar is just the place for you.
One of the things I liked at the Noodle Bar was their Asian themed food decoration. The beautifully presented food items were looking very tempting for the platter.
The noodle bar has a unique 'Toss it up' menu. It is a Do-it-yourself section, where we can choose from a choice of meat, vegetables, sauces and garnishes. You can mix and match using creativity and innovate your own dish or you can ask for recommendation for pairing.
Adding to the fun of the day, we parted with the delicious sizzling brownie and memories of the soothing ambiance and oriental food with us.

The Canvas Platter Verdict: 3.3 / 5. Worth a visit for Asian and oriental food.
