"An Apple a day, keeps doctor away"
During my recent practice session, the subject was still life. Apple is an interesting fruit as it has a variety of colors and shades. I had to practice a lot to capture all the shades in one pictures.
The light sources reflecting on the Apple are shown in the white patches.
Shadow plays an important role in this type of painting as it shows the
real effect of object. The shadow is never painted in black. Persian
blue or natural brown color is a good choice for colors.
